7-12 Parent Involvement Activities
We are asking that every family sign up for at least one of the Parent Involvement Activities:
_____Religious Education Teacher: Teach in our RE program (7-12) each week following
our curriculum. I would like to teach 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade class this year.
I would prefer to team teach. Yes / No
_____Substitute RE teacher: Fill in for teachers who are unable to teach for a class time.
Any special grade levels? __________
_____Office Help: Help in the office while my child is at class.
_____Teacher Helper: I would sit in on classroom activities during the year to help with
discipline and crowd control. I would help with small group activities in the teacher
classroom. You would be informed of any small group activities on teacher schedule.
_____Youth Choir Director: Plan & organize music for special occasions during the year...
about five different times a year. Offer practices before or after RE scheduled time. We are
in desperate need of someone to step forward and get the students involved in a youth
choir. Prayfully consider this position!
_____Music helper: Help assist & lead the youth choir director with any duties necessary.
_____Adult Driver: Chaperone & drive students to off-campus field trips, rallies, or outings
throughout the year. Volunteers will need to fill out an adult driver form. We need adult
drivers and chaperones.
_____Large Group Helper: Large group is when all the grades come together to listen to a
speaker, to do a special project, to celebrate Kick-off (beginning of RE) & end-of-year party,
help at retreats, or social events. We plan on meeting about 5 or 6 times a year. This is a
great way to build community in our program. Please plan on bringing a snack for the large
group.
_____Service Project Helper: Help with stewardship projects that have been set up...Food
Drive, Earth Day project. Help with your student's Youth Breakfast listed on the schedule.

_____I would like to help with the Liturgy of the Word for our Student Masses & prayer
services. Help lead the Rosary with my student's class. Indicate date(s):

_____I would like to supply food/snacks for special times during the year, help serve, and
clean up kitchen/dining area. Someone would call you when snacks would be needed.
**All these activities will require that you take part in our Parish Safe Environment Training
scheduled for Wed. Sept 16 @7pm in the FCC. An ON-LINE option is available if you can
not attend. Please let me know if you choose this option. Yes / No
